Linux/UNIX：ファイルの先頭を表示する – headコマンド

headコマンドでファイルの先頭を表示することができます。

-n で表示する行数を指定することができます。

# head -n 100 /var/log/messages
Oct 12 04:02:09 localhost syslogd 1.4.1: restart.
Oct 12 04:04:29 localhost smbd[14866]: [2014/10/12 04:04:29, 0] printing/print_cups.c:cups_connect(69)
Oct 12 04:04:29 localhost smbd[14866]:   Unable to connect to CUPS server localhost:631 - Connection refused
